2026 Kenya OSPAs Finalists Announced: Celebrating the Best in Security Performance

Sep 17, 2026News

The Kenya OSPAs celebrate the people, organisations and innovations delivering exceptional performance across Kenya’s security sector, recognising those who are making a significant contribution to the profession and helping to drive standards, excellence and innovation forward.

The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) are established as independent and inclusive awards, providing a respected platform for exceptional performers from across the security community to receive the recognition they deserve. Whether buyers, suppliers, security professionals or organisations, the OSPAs are designed to ensure that outstanding achievement is recognised and celebrated across the breadth of the sector.

The awards are founded on strong ethical principles and are actively supported by a wide range of leading industry bodies and special interest groups. These organisations nominate judges to represent them, bringing valuable expertise, knowledge and diverse perspectives to the judging process. Supporting organisations include the Private Security Regulatory Authority, ASIS Kenya, KEPSA – Kenya Private Sector Alliance, KSIA – Kenya Security Industry Association, WISE – Association of Women In Safety Excellence, PSIA – Private Security Industry Association, and PCAK – The Professional Criminologists Association of Kenya.

The 2026 Kenya OSPAs will culminate in a virtual awards ceremony on 8 October 2026, when the winners across all categories will be announced and their achievements celebrated.

There is also an exciting international opportunity for this year’s successful finalists. Building on the success of last year’s awards, winners of all 2026 Kenya OSPAs categories, with the exception of the Lifetime Achievement Award, will automatically qualify for the 2026 Global OSPAs, which will take place at the beginning of 2027. This provides Kenya’s award winners with the opportunity to take their achievements onto the global stage and compete for international recognition.

The winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award will receive an additional and lasting honour, with their outstanding contribution to the security profession recognised through induction into the Security Hall of Fame.
