Collins Ayodo

ASIS Kenya

Collins Ayodo is a seasoned security and risk management professional with extensive experience in corporate security, investigations, and support services. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a BSc in Criminology and Security Management. Collins is a multi-certified expert, holding CPP, PCI, PSP, CFE, and SRMP credentials, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional excellence and ethical standards in the field.

He currently serves as the Head of Security and Support Services at Mater Hospital Kenya, a role he assumed in January 2024. Prior to this, he was the Principal Security and Investigation Officer at Kenya Airways (2021–2023) and served in the Kenya Police Service for a decade (2011–2021), gaining invaluable frontline and investigative experience.

Collins is also an active member of ASIS International, Kenya Chapter 269, where he has served as Certification Chairman (2020–2024) and currently serves as Chapter Treasurer (since January 2025).

Sienna Dutkowski

ASIS Kenya

A graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Sienna ensures that Lady Askari clients and team are not only safe but well cared for.  Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Sienna has been working on the African continent since 2007. Sienna started her career in South Sudan, where she managed residential and office compounds, including the US Consulate compound.

In 2020, Sienna co-founded Lady Askari. Sienna’s focus within the organization is transforming security from an operational function to a customer centric experience. Additionally, Sienna leads in organizational compliance and professional development. She uses her passion for community development to help elevate women within the security industry and uses Lady Askari to do good within the communities in which the organization operates.

Sienna is the Board Chair for NECF, board member of the Global Cybersecurity Advisory Group, a member of the ASIS International Women In Security Steering Committee and ASIS Kenya Membership Chair and Women in Security Liaison.

Jennifer Mwethya Muema

Women in Safety Excellence (WISE)

Jennifer Mwethya Muema, HSC, is a Superintendent of Prisons with the Kenya Prisons Service and an accomplished corrections and security professional with over 15 years of experience spanning public safety, strategic communications, and institutional reform.

She recently served as a Corrections Advisor with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), where she provided technical guidance on prison development, promoted adherence to international human rights standards, and strengthened justice chain coordination to address prolonged detention and improve case management systems. Her work contributed to advancing gender-responsive corrections, rehabilitation initiatives, and capacity building for prison personnel.

Jennifer is a recognized leader in the security sector and the 2025 Kenya OSPAs Security Officer of the Year. She previously served as Head of Public Relations at Kenya Prisons Service Headquarters, leading strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and policy messaging.

She is a Governing Council Member of Women in Safety Excellence (WISE), where she plays a key role in advancing women’s leadership, mentorship, and policy advocacy in the safety and security sector. A passionate gender enthusiast and mentor, she actively champions gender-responsive approaches aligned with the Women, Peace and Security agenda.

Jennifer holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, with additional specialized training in correctional administration, gender-responsive prison management, and human rights frameworks including the Mandela and Bangkok Rules. She remains committed to advancing secure, humane, and reform-driven correctional systems at both national and global levels.

Catherine Karuga

Catherine Karuga is a holder of BSC Criminology and Security Management, with over 17 years’ experience in Security Management with a bias in Risk Assessment & Management, Physical security, Events security, criminal intelligence & Investigations, loss prevention, partners’ relationship management and security and counter terrorisms awareness training.
Her experience includes 10 years in public service as an investigator in Kenya police service, Directorate of Criminal investigations and Criminal Intelligence Bureau and over 7 years in private Security Sector, currently serving with a Christian based organization and supporting Christian organizations in professionalizing their security services.

Ms. Karuga is the Founder Director Recruitment and membership for Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) and the current Deputy Secretary General (Director Training) in the same association.

Throughout her career, Ms. Karuga has participated in security and safety awareness promotion and believes that diversity
and inclusion in Security sector plays a great role in achieving secure working environment and a safe society for all.

Purity Kinanu

Women in Safety Excellence (WISE)

Purity is an accomplished leadership and workplace development expert with over 15 years of progressive experience in Sales Management, Human Resources, People Development and Training. Her career spans multiple sectors, including over a decade with G4S Kenya where she held key positions as Sales Manager and later as Learning and Development Manager. She currently leads HR and Organizational development initiatives within the telecommunications industry.

She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. Purity also holds the CPP credential (Certified Protection Professional) and is a member of both the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc. CIPD), underscoring her commitment to professional excellence and global HR standards.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Purity is the Chairperson of The Association of Women in Safety Excellence (WISE). She is also the Founder of WISE Mentorship Program, launched in 2021 to support and elevate women leaders in the safety and security industry. Under her guidance, this program has successfully graduated three cohorts and continues to shape the next generation of emerging leaders in the field.

A returning judge, Purity previously served on the OSPAS panel in 2021. She brings to this year`s judging panel a wealth of expertise, strategic insight and a deep commitment to advancing leadership and business excellence within the security industry.

Elvis Okal

PSRA – Private Security Regulatory Authority

Elvis Okal is a seasoned lawyer specializing in regulatory and compliance matters within the private security industry. As Head of Legal for the Private Security Regulatory Authority, he plays a key role in shaping industry policies, and in ensuring co-operation between Law enforcement agencies and the Private Security industry. 

With a strong background in administrative and security law, Elvis is dedicated to upholding industry standards, protecting public safety, and fostering a fair regulatory environment. He brings extensive experience in litigation, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement, working closely with security firms, government agencies, and industry leaders to promote compliance and professionalism. 

Elvis has worked closely with government agencies and private security firms, offering expertise in threat assessment, security audits, and crisis management. His in-depth understanding of security regulations and industry best practices has made him a trusted advisor in developing and implementing strategies that align with enhanced standards of security service delivery. 

He has also been instrumental in advising on security licensing frameworks, workforce remuneration, and compliance enforcement, ensuring security firms operate within legal and ethical parameters. 

Simon Karuki MSc, CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE

ASIS Kenya

Simon Karuki is a Board-Certified Security Professional with over 15 years of experience in the management of Enterprise Security Risks, Fraud Risks, and Forensic Investigations.

Simon is the Head of Security and Investigations at I&M Bank. In addition, he has previously served as the Head of Corporate Security and Investigation Services for Ecobank Kenya and East Africa, Head of Security at ABC Bank and Security officer at Equity Bank.

Simon holds a Master of Science Degree in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester and is certified in Physical Security, Cybersecurity, Fraud Risk Management and Forensic Investigations.

Simon has received recognition at the Global level from ASIS International for his contribution to the advancement of the Security Profession through coaching and mentoring upcoming Security Professionals.

He is also a consummate facilitator of CISSP, CPP, PSP, and PCI certification review classes. Additionally, Simon is a talented writer and speaker on Corporate Security and Investigations; he has spoken in major conferences and seminars within and without Kenya.

Monicah Kimeu

Women In Safety Excellence (WISE)

Monicah Kimeu is a Security Training and Communications Consultant with over 15 years of experience in security management, capacity building, and gender advocacy. She holds a Master of Arts in Security Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media.

A recognized leader in Kenya’s private security sector reform, Monicah is a founding member of two respected industry associations: Women In Safety Excellence (WISE), where she serves as Secretary General, and the Protective and Safety Association of Kenya (PROSAK), where she is the Vice Chair. Both organizations are committed to advancing professionalism, inclusivity, and excellence within the country’s security sector. She played a pivotal role in establishing Kenya’s first Bachelor of Arts program in Criminology and Security Studies, significantly contributing to the academic and professional growth of the industry.

Monicah is the Founder and Lead Consultant at Mo n’ More Concepts Ltd a training and development firm dedicated to enhancing organizational performance through security-focused, impact-driven programs. Her ability to facilitate cross-functional engagements and deliver tailored capacity-building solutions is exceptional.

At the heart of her work in WISE is her patronage in the Security and Safety Awareness Program where she champions women’s empowerment by promoting personal security, professional resilience, and self-awareness. She is also a leading voice in Kenya’s anti-femicide campaign, advocating for policy reform, grassroots engagement, and a holistic approach to security that includes physical, emotional, and economic well-being.

Monicah serves as a Judge for the Kenya Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) and the Gender Mainstreaming Awards, recognizing excellence in security and gender inclusion. A passionate Diversity and Inclusion advocate, she is committed to redefining security through a gendered lens and creating safer, more equitable spaces for women and marginalized communities.

Laichena Mugambi

Expert in Security matters, currently the Secretary General Protective Security Industry Association(PSIA), Holding several awards in Security training, holds a Masters degree in Law and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Cosmas Mutava

Cosmas Mutava is the managing director of Marco security limited with over 20 years’ experience in security management, risk management and various roles in leadership.

Cosmas is the chairman of Protective Security Industry Association (PSIA), a board member of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) in the Security sector board,a board member of Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE).He is also the chairman Makueni county Professionals Forum (MCPF)

He is a graduate of Management University of Africa (MUA) and attained an Executive Master of Business Administration and he holds various Certificate courses in: courter Terrorism, Fire prevention Safety Awareness, formalizing the informal sector in Kenya certificate from International Labour Organization (ILO) and school board leadership in the country among other leadership credentials.

Bryan Ndichu

Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA)

Bryan has held various positions at KEPSA since joining in 2017, having served as an ICT officer at Huduma Center, Since 2014.
With 8 years of experience across a range of technologies in design, support, integration, he has assisted KEPSA automate most of its processes, expanding its Technology base.

Bryan also serves in the Public Private Dialogue department as the officer in charge of ICT and Security Sectors respectively.
Bryan holds a Diploma in Information Technology as well as BSc- Hons in Business Information Technology from African Nazarene University in Nairobi, Kenya.
Bryan is passionate about Disaster Risk Management, Data Protection and Cyber security.

Kenwilliams Nyakomitah

Professional Criminologists Association of Kenya (PCAK)

Kenwilliams Nyakomitah is an accomplished security expert with 15 years of extensive managerial experience in security, human capital, investigation, and coaching. He is currently serving as the Group Security Manager at a leading diversified financial services group, overseeing operations across seven countries with over 2000 staff. Additionally, he is the Director of Security for the Professional Criminologists Association of Kenya (PCAK).

Kenwilliams is pursuing a PhD in Development Studies (Disaster Management & Sustainable Development) and holds a master’s degree in security management, a bachelor’s degree in criminology and security studies, and a Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP) certificate, alongside several postgraduate diplomas and certifications. He is also an ISO Quality Management (QMS) & Information Security Management System (ISMS) auditor.

His distinguished career includes service in the Kenya Defense Forces, the United Nations, and various state corporations. Kenwilliams has a strong track record in strategic planning, risk management, and policy development. He has worked with international organizations and private agencies, fostering robust security frameworks, and enhancing safety and communication standards across diverse regions, including Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Zambia, Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, and South Sudan.

Kenwilliams is also a prolific author, having published several journals in the fields of security, political science, terrorism, diplomacy and international relations, criminology, and peace and conflict.

Renowned for his leadership, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to build effective teams, Kenwilliams is well-versed in operational management, budgeting, security operations, and intelligence management. His expertise and global experience make him an asset in the security sector, dedicated to driving excellence and innovation in organizational security.

Tobias See MBA, CPP, PCI, PSP

ASIS Kenya

TOBIAS SEE MBA,CPP,PCI, PSP has been in the security industry in the region for the last 27 years. He is an holder of Masters in Business Administration in Strategic Management and Bachelor of Arts. He is triple certified, holder of CPP, PCI and PSP.

Besides being a director of Riley courier and First land development, he is also currently the Managing Director of Riley Falcon Security Services Ltd, one of the largest and well established Security companies in the Region.

Tobias has undertaken training in various aspects of security in Kenya, Europe Asia and America. He is also trained in corporate governance and is currently the serving chairman of ASIS – Kenya chapter.
